StarCraft2Forum.org BlizzCon Tickets Contest 2.0

BlizzCon 2008 is coming up on October 10-11 and tickets are sold out! But at StarCraft2Forum.org we want you, the SC2 fan, to be able to go anyway! That's why we're giving away some tickets to help you get there.


We're holding a contest to find out who the most dedicated SC2 fans are and we'll be giving those users tickets to the event. Two tickets will be raffled off to the most "deserving" members. Raffle winners will be drawn on September 17th! So here's how the contest will work:

How to enter:

Step 1: Send a Private Message to Joneagle_X on StarCraft2Forum.org from the account from which you would like to enter saying you can attend and you would like tickets!

Step 2: Earn your raffle tickets!

- Each and every registered members with 20 posts who joins the contest will have one raffle chance. But you can earn more than that! (*NOTE*: If you spam your way to 20 posts, you will be banned and ineligible for the contest!)

- Earn an extra entry for every member who signs up that enters you are their "Referrer" on registration. This includes past referrals. (*NOTE*: Creating duplicate accounts will get you banned and you will be ineligible for the contest!)

That's it! Easy as pie!

Now, the RULES:

- You must be able to attend the event and get yourself there. Sorry! We can't pay for transportation!

- You must be present at the event. The tickets are non-transferable and must be picked up in person!

Wow, I wish I could go, I mean I'm only about a seven hour drive away but it's worth it. Of course I am too young unfortunately... Well your giving the tickets on my birthday, September 17th! I wish I could go!

non transferable? like there is an official name in the ticket and when you go to blizzcon you need to bring your id as well?

anyway, how about if i will just make a deal with a random member here who wants to go? i will sell him/her the ticket through paypal.

I am still not sure if I can get to Blizzcon. I have bills and stuff to pay and am still a couple hundred short for a computer I wanna buy for school. Tablets are expensive.

 

When your name is put down for one of these tickets, they put your name and everything on a convention badge, which you have to pick up at the VIP/Press booth, at the convention center. There's no way you can transfer the ticket, because they check ID.

 

Good job Blizzard! I just hope there wasn't someone who bought a BlizzCon ticket second-hand, and didn't know about this.
