In celebration of tonight's midnight release of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty StarCraft2Forum.org is holding a launch party starting right here at 12:00 AM July 27th EDT. All you have to do is show up and participate in our chatroom. We'll be handing out lots of gear as our party is sponsored by Steelseries.

Don't worry if you don't have your copy of the game just yet you can still hang out and win lots of prizes! We'll be going all night for another great reason, outlined below.

Our launch party will also serve as a registration party for our "Ultimate" StarCraft 2 PC tournament which starts on Wednesday. Signups begin EXACTLY at 3:30 AM EDT at Tournament.StarCraft2Forum.org. Be sure to check there and read up on all the rules and other information you'll need to participate. Signups are first-come, first-serve and we'll take the first 128 players to sign up.

The best part is the Grand Prize which is a fully-built custom PC specifically designed to run StarCraft 2 to its max. Various components are being provided by the tournament's sponsors: Razer, Nvidia, Antec, Patriot, and Shokz Guide. The build includes an i5 processor, Nvidia GTX460, an Antec EF-85 case, and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. It also comes fully stocked with peripherals provided by Razer and Antec. It's an all-around amazing build! Be sure to register to test your skills!

We've also got some awesome Razer Imperators up for grab! The tournament starts Wednesday at 8:30 EDT and runs through the finals on Saturday starting at 8:30 EDT. Be sure to look out for StarCraft.org's Amateur Hour crew who will be casting the tourny. Good luck out there!

Hey, I know what it means, just not exactly pleased.

Haha, i'm not one of those kids who constantly flame and call you a noob, I actually play to win and enjoy the game.

Haha its one of those things kids will argue about like the drinking limit, once they've reached that age they don't care about arguing for a lower drinking age limit. I've been there done that.

I understand, but I hate being at such a young age when there is so much I want to participate in.

Not being rallies and such :)

I think there are some younger aged people who would be fine playing in a tournament and not be annoying children, but I suppose it's better with a limit. Sadly.

Because of tax reasons I can't give free prizes to "minors." I can stretch that rule to 17 year old if they're considered "working." Sorry, guys. I would never tell you to be untruthful about your age, of course. :D

    Registration Problem

I think the text field for Battle.net name is pointed to the email validation. I put an email in that field just to check and it sent the registration fine. My battle.net name is Zeezal and my email is rbarbish@gmail.com. Could an admin check my registration info for me and change the battle.net name please? Thanks - Ross

Yeah something is off with the tourney registration page. I had to enter my email twice as both Battle.net name and Battle.net email, once I did that it sent it, otherwise I received an error.

I would like to say GL & HF to all of you guys.

    And 17 years U.S. resident?
    I think I'm 17...

Less than 200km north of the U.S. border is American, right?

EDIT: Well, time to study BO's again... I kind of skipped the beta, and now all you guys are pros and I'm still that noob QQ'ing...

I'm not entering this competition for 2 reasons.

    1. Not a US citizen.
    2. This tournament feels like a "if you have played a lot of beta matches put up your hand". I didn't for a number of reasons and that's why I'm waiting for 6 months or so I can actually get good at the game then I'll enter the tournaments. I want to be beaten on retail and not beta experienced players.

It's not CITIZEN. It's U.S. resident. I refuse to ship an 80 lbs. PC outside the U.S.
