What was so great about the Crysis DVD Box? Regardless, Blizzard never disappoints when it comes to boxes and the Collector's Editions are even better.
hmm, i just wonder if they will put any goodies inside the collector's edition. And, box art is important it effect a game, it has to catch your eye if you don't know about it.
I'd actually buy a collectors edition, if the original starcraft would be in it. With nice extras of course.
So, you would pay at least 10$ extra just for inferior packaging of something that costs about 15$? Why not wish for a cinematic blu-ray or a audio CD .. or.. damn .. SOMETHING! else?
By "Blu-ray DVD" I assume you mean "Blu-Ray disc" so, yeah, that would be nice for StarCraft 2 but even in DVD-quality StarCraft looks about the same as in the game except minus some pixelation.
meh, either one is fine by me as long as i can burn them to my ipod and carry them around me im happy.
You can rip the videos from the game itself and convert it to an iPod format You don't need an extra disc for that.
I'm hoping the box art for Wings of Liberty is a sort of portrait of Jim, Matt, and Tychus in the forefront with Arcturus' head/face glowering out from above them.
That's a nice idea SPR. My idea would be pretty similar, with the faces like in StarCraft and Brood War. Jim's face of course in the middle and Zeratul's and Kerrigan's faces on the sides. Zeratul's and Kerrigans faces because I think that they affect the Terran campaign pretty much and probably are in the mini campaigns. The faces are a very good idea for the box because people notice faces easier than just the Terran logo. The Terran logo could be in the back of the box with text and some screenshots on it.
