hey i played the beta for sc2 and it feels like one of the slowest rts games ive played. One of the issues i have is that it takes forever for units to build and upgrade anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes. Also after a building has been upgraded or you've researched it doesn't feel like it has done much for the amount of time taken the upgrade the unit.

Does anyone have an idea of a speed game that might come out or a general setting that lets you play the game faster.

also one of the dumbest parts of the game is that you can destroy your own units and buildings which is an annoying part of the game

you can speed up the game via the menu tab, got to game options and put game speed on fastest, which if that still to slow for you then well ur SOL.

lol what do u upgrade something and then sit there and wait for it to finish?
micro build other units and expand this isent a sit and wait game. You should constantly be active.

I've actually used this to my advantage in some matches.
1 walling off completely then breaking down wall later on.
2 charging my voids for an incoming attack.

If you couldn't do that there would be some serious problems with the game.... people would get stuck very often.

Excellent reason y being able to destroy ur own buildings and units is a useful tool, ive accidentally killed my own units b4 as well, just takes practice and control to prevent that.
