Personaly I don't play it as much as I did. But how old is StarCraft? 10 years or so? And it is huge! it has just kept growing and now that StarCraft 2 is coming many of the people who don't play so much anymore(like me ) will come back to it. StarCraft will never die!
Starcraft will never be outdated. It's the role model for all RTS games after 1998. It is still being described as the best RTS ever made, but then it's likely to be pushed off the title by SC2
StarCraft will forever be in my mind THE legendary RTS as cool as the second one will be it will not out rank or or be ans amazing as StarCraft
Do you really think the sequel's is gonna be better? I mean, I hope so too, but isn't it just a little bit too much too hope for?
blizzard so far has a good record for improving with each sequel all thou i am afraid because StarCraft was amazing and i hope they do F it up it bight be better for graphics and such but better im not sure about that
I 'aint too sure I'm overjoyed with all these people coming back to starcraft simply because of the sequel. It seems somehow less special than those who have played Starcraft solidly regardless of other games... Oh, and anyway - your data is bound to be skewed... you're posting it on this forum! I'll bet very few, if any, people will say Starcraft is outdated. ~Pix~
ya but StarCraft2 will be more for the hardcore StarCraft player for thous of us that have been playing from the beginning and are still playing it to this very day
Ha, you only started playing it again cause your parents killed your net for a month and you couldn't play WoW! See, I think that when SCII comes out, the only people left playing SC1 will be people with bad computers, and Koreans with their unholy love for the Vulture.

but the reason i wasnt on before is because i couldn't find my discs but im not sure if world of StarCraft would be any good i mean being a zealot or a flamethrower or something like that would be cool but i dont know
the graphics and game "details" in starcraft are outdated indeed... but thats just a technology issue.. the storyline in the campaigns.. the strategies.. the gameplay.. the balancing.. all these arent outdated at all.. they are still a reference in video gaming
Yeah, It might be outdated graphic-wise even my friends said so.."the heads are square" lol but game-wise...hell no! I mean come'on! Its great! compared to warcraft3? i still prefer starcraft...
OH yeah.. good comparaison.. starcraft is much better than wc3 even if wc3 has better graphics... the gameplay is better.. but.. hmm.. the game isnt exactly the same.. it might be a matter of taste.
