Hi all, I have a quick question that I hope someone could answer for me. What was the point of the StarCraft's intro cinematic with those Terrans salvaging junk from space, and their leader getting his head blown off by a Protoss? ship. In case if my question was too vague:how did the StarCraft intro fit into the game exactly? Was it a random cinematic Blizzard decided to put in, or did the cinematic have any connection to the storyline. I just don't really understand what was happening in the cinematic.
Im not sure but I think the salvahe crew was looking at the remains of a battle between the confederacy and the zerg, who were now on the planet. Troughout the earlier missions of the Terran campaign who the Protoss have been burning worlds to destroy the zerg, and I think that is what we saw in the opening cinematic was the Protoss burning one of the first Zerg infested worlds.
Its a protoss ship, glassing a planet, it fits just fine with the story line. The terrans just happened to be in the way when it occurred.
Well it shows the Terran's knack for using everything for profit and shows Tassadars ship burning Chau Sara
