Wow! These are way better than those other vids on youtube were they only show the open mouth and shoulders of a gamer.. well, they don't show fullscreen here either but at least this is real HD

    Thanks a bunch!

i wasnt sure if i saw this properly but in the first vid it seems like he was able to set the rally point to a group of immortals that were walking around? am i right?

  4. How are these High Quality? It's still YouTube. But, either way, thanks for the linkage.

-- Are newbs so common at these kinds of events that someone that's actually played StarCraft (or any other RTS) cannot be found?

I vote Dreamhack the best sounding gaming event :)

It doesn't look like they were allowed to film the screen directly. They had to give their word not to film the screen to be allowed to take this footage in the first place. Still, unless the Blizzard people actually checked the video I don't see how they would know...

Hmm. It looks like he just set the rally points to be near the Immortals. I don't think the rally point was actually following them around.

YouTube supports HD now, get with the times. :p The video is in 720p, at a 1280x720 resolution with a 2200 kbs bitrate as opposed to the normal youtube "high quality" of 480x360 resolution and 500kbs bitrate.

  6. I know. I've seen many "High Quality" YouTube videos. So, I am "with the times". That's why I said "It's still YouTube". That's not "High Quality" to me.

By the way, resolution means nothing when you are talking about video files such as these. Now, in Blu-Ray and DVD high-quality compression it would. But, in videos like these, most of the time you would do better to just have higher quality but at a lower resolution. It's a bit like kHz.

That being said, I didn't read the part where the article said it was in 720p. I just saw the "YouTube" part and assumed it was the usual **** YouTube "high quality". Also, I watched it in the "small screen square" format so I didn't see the enhanced quality.
