StarCraft Haikus!

I had a friend that would write a new StarCraft Haiku every week and place it in his battle.net description. I wrote a few myself.
I'll start with mine, but please feel free to add your own!

Some of them clearly deal with StarCraft, but some of the others are a little more open, but were created referring to StarCraft gameplay.

I cannot tell you
How Guardians stay aloft.
They must be magic!

A useful Bunker,
Because rubble does nothing,
Hides among others.
(Defensive buildings tend to get destroyed when they are out in the open.)

A lone Hydralisk
Hiding under the Dark Swarm
Will turn foes away.
(At least air-foes)

If he escapes,
The enemy will return.
You will fight again.

If they are uneasy,
Strikes from out of the shadows
Will keep you on top.

 

Oh dear Lord.

I cannot tell
how guardians stay up in the sky
with no wings
how can they fly

They should just fall
they dont ahve enough vespene gas
some one should tell blizzard
about this imbalance

 

NOT A HAIKU


Jetting through the sky,
Wraiths up on high
Everybody gotta die sometime, Red
Just as long as it's after he's fed.

Ghosts harassing the enemy units
Driving them to the edge of their wits.
Cloak, Lockdown, and a nuke
More than enough to make a foe puke

Protoss Zealots running loose,
Killing units like a noose.
The Blades of Aiur,
Passion burns like a fire

That mighty war machine called the Reaver
Goes through enemies like wood through a beaver.
Launching its mighty Scarab blast,
It kills your foes mighty fast.

The slimy Zerg Overlord
Moves about of its own accord
Carrying allies in its Ventral Sac,
For making gross sounds, it has a knack

Last and not least,
The Ultralisk has its feast.
Mighty blades to rend its foes,
Its enemies down, they do mow.

That one was great, it sums up the whole waiting-for-SC2 experience perfectly. I was going to add some SC2-themed haiku, but that one just takes the cake.

Can someone explain me the rules of a Haiku? What's the difference between this and other kind of poems? I don't really see it (except its short, like a limmerick)

 

A haiku is a form of Japanese poetry.

Three lines, 17 syllables total. Arranged in 5-7-5 syllables over three lines.

5 syllables
7 syllables
5 syllables

I like it, though personally I'd switch "brood" with "swarm"....That's just me though.

 

Gold, buddy, son, count your syllables my friend.  You got 6-8-7 instead of 5-7-5.

bur(1) - ning(2) - a(3) - way(4) - the(5) - zerg(6) - ling(7) - swarm(8)

I like haikus they
Are very fun but why, why,

ahh lol i was counting colos as one syllable, english thoery was never my strong point, sometimes i feel so stupid.

 

ghost nuked my home
fallout gave me the big itch
you son of a bitch


big yamato gun
makes ultras run astray
cant be escaped
