StarCraft fansite tournament being organized

Hey guys, I'm back.. been busy with Starfeeder, but right now me and a few other fansite admins are organizing the first ever StarCraft fansite tournament

That includes both SC and SC2 fansites

We have 16 teams signed up so far, but the more the merrier, :

We should pm the admin about this and ask him if he'll create a team for us.

Edit: nvm, I already pm'ed him.

 

In order to sort out who is who among starcraft2forum.org, we should have a mini tournament. This is quite something big to organize and surely it will be difficult to host because of all the differing time zones between all the fan sites and their user bases. But I give you props for bringing all the sites together to have something everyone can enjoy!

vasz if you have to play 10-neon in a 1v1 you will lose, your a good player, but neon is crazy good

I might be wrong, but I think he was making a joke, suggesting we were the best fansite.

I am pretty sure Jon and Imagine can beat me in greater than 50% of games that we might play. I still haven't been on the receiving end of Ych9, but it is very possible that he is better than me.

Imagine, an easier way to set it up would be to establish a team from what we know of relative abilities, then let other members challenge for positions on the team. That way it can be done on a member-by-member basis and we don't have to organize a ton of games.

So would this be like 2v2 games or just a bunch of 1v1? But either way I think I could help the team especially if its like 2v2. And I know alot of you probably think I'm not good enough (cough LK cough) but I these two replays I just recently got... I can show you them if you don't think I am.

EDIT: And o btw... Jon is crazy good... I mean no offense Neon I've played you in games and while you are really good... I think Jon can beat you like 75% of the time... but your still better than me maybe...

 

75% falls into the category of "greater than 50%" (although I doubt the ratio is that high in his favor.)

 

I know it falls into that category, I was just giving the number I thought was about right... but still hes just.... but like I said Neon your still hella good.

 

fox its not I dont think your good enough I just enjoy giving you crap . Also im not sure I would say the ratio is as high as 75% but then again I havnt played jon in awhile. But assuming he hasnt improved much since I played him (or assuming me and him have improved similar amounts) I would say its closer to 60-40 in favor if Jon.

 

Well thank you Lord for explaining to me that you like to give me crap Any way yeah I went to high.. I would say 65% actually, and I think thats pretty close to the truth.

 

Clearly, the only way to solve this problem is for Jon and I to play 100 games against each other and see how it stacks up.

 

hmmm clearly if you play 100 games we will not see you for the next week, and also if you just decide to play 10 games I want to watch them all XD
