This Starcraft comic, where can we get it ? In blizzard.com ? At any store ? In what languages ? Please, some answers.
You can get a subscription online at DC Comics, or you can buy it at a comic book store starting May 27th.
I haven't read too many comics in my life so I might just be a little thick in this department but all 6 pages look incoherent to me. As I understand it a comic should feed itself as if it was a book. I had to put things together and fill in some stuff to get the connection between certain "boxes".
I think the issue is the preview (picking the first 6 pages is standard), rather than the comic itself. The first page was just confusing (the War Pigs weren't there) but if you open the book and see the first two pages right away the confusion would disappear. As for the rest... the preview is actually of a prequel to the main comic storyline. The prequel is taking place during StarCraft I, whereas the main storyline takes place shortly before StarCraft II.
At last, a starcraft comic book. Something that I'm interested in. And It look sweet to, DC is publish this series? I hope they didn't do any alternate universe though. also hope it sell online
Hmmm. I'm not sure if I like it. Didn't know that was Arcturus until they said. Art style doesn't seem... too suitable.
Wolverine with psi blades would be ubercool. On the topic: jay, just a little under a month waiting left. I just hope the rest of the pages are less vague then these, though.
seems cool, but it was too inchoherent, it lacked a natural flow. Hope they solve this, otherwise might turn out bad.
When you're immediately dropped into the action in a work of fiction, you're naturally going to feel a bit lost. This is remedied as things are explained. Seriously, how many times have you read a book where the first chapter starts out with certain events that happen so quickly you have to reread a few times to figure out what the hell just happened? I've read many. But, the biggest problem here is reading it on a computer screen. That has always been an issue with me. When you have a comic in your hands and you can see the words and the pictures in proper proportions at suitable angles and such, it's a lot easier to understand what's going on. Give the comic a try. This preview shouldn't dissuade you from buying it as it's not a good indication of anything.
