Starcraft can compared to the movie film (Alien vs. Predator)

(ALIEN VS. PREDATOR) COMPARED TO STARCRAFT
The alien at the right side can compared to the zerg and the Predator at the left side can compared to the protoss and the humans in that film can compared to the terran,, so are you agree friends?? PLS POST HERE

aliens are cooler than hydralisks
zealots are cooler than predators

 

Yes, I agree. They are very similiar in style. But we can't really compare the Terrans to the Humans in the movie because the Humans really sucked in the movie, LOL. Terrans on the other hand, could at least hold their own against the Protoss or Zergs.

 

Yap im agreed also those human in that film are ??? opposite of brave hehehe

 

friends do myou know why im vote that film can compared to starcraft,,, because look zerg hydralisk are desame like aliens they can evolved or i mean they can reproduced more and more and fast and they infest also specially against human,,, and for the predator in that film thay are high technology powerful and can become invisible as like as the protoss,,, and they also have long hair and also that film is about the space also the starcraft thats why .. im vote that film can compared to starcraft.....

 

Well in short lol, my friends Alien can compared to a Zerg Hydralisk and Predator to a Protoss Zealot...

haha i never noticed that the alien so similar to a hydralisk, and the predator is so simlar to a dark templar. Anywho, if i recall in the end the predator dies and a human kills the zerg and the human win... but i don't think the terrans win win in sc2.

 

yah. they are pretty similar. but starcraft owns alien vs predator.

Alien vs. Predator: The Movie sucked more than a Black Hole ever could in it's entire lifespan. First off, there was no "snow-breath" in the Anarctic continent by the humans. What the f*ck? The temperatures range from -60 to -70°F! They need to know the facts before the acts! So this is no good, you cannot truly compare the sucktastic movie that was AvP to the greatness that is SC.

But to continue for the topic's sake, I think Aliens vs. Predator was one of the many influences for the development of StarCraft and it's races.

Correct me if I am wrong (since I am looking at my copy of AvP) the movie, Aliens versus Predator was filed and released in 2004. Noth both Predator and Alien movies were movies that came out in the 80s (if I am not mistaken - Alien might have been late 70s).

Someone already pointed out the Zerg remind people of Starshiptrooper insects versus the humans in the movie/book.

Are there similarities? YES.

However, where do the minerals and the gas idea come from in movies?

The first Alien came out in 1979 and Blizzard has said before that both starship troopers and aliens influenced some of their ideas in starcraft

StarCraft developers needed a way to set up an economy for an RTS game as well as to develop the resource management concepts (I.E. What should I buy next? Should I Expand to control resource locations?) What better way then to build on what we do today, we take Earth's minerals and elements and we convert them for us to use and apply.

That is the exact same connection I made when I saw AVP! Especially with the Protoss. And I hadn't played StarCraft for years when I watched it. Darn movies copying StarCraft!

 

God in AvP the humans sucked.

I bet an Ultralisk could've taken down the Alien queen. And a batch of Marines could rough up the Predators and Aliens.

 

When i first watched this movie film i noticed that this movie is very similar to starcraft first the environtment, this movie film is about the outer space also, next the Aliens is similar to the Zerg and the Predators are similar to the Protoss, well im not sure if the Terrans are similar to the Human in that Story movie film , well i guess yes because they also fight the the Aliens and Predators
