Starcraft beta possible pushed forward 2 months.

Im not positive this is true but the forum is seems to be getting information that the beta will be pushed forward 2 months due to so much info they got from beta playing.

This could meen more time for editor if they release it soon and also a much more balanced enjoyable game.

did they even schedule an end to the beta? i thought it was supposed to go on "until it's done."

 

I'm sure that says pushed back at least two months and not forward like the original poster said.
But I agree with JonX. It's only a rumour now till it's verified.

But that got me thinking why would Blizzard give the limited edition details out if SC2 is to be pushed back 2 months? It makes so sense to me.

 

maybe they will release the game on the day blizzcon is on. You know big annoucements and all.

 

It wouldn't be at blizzcon, Activision needs cataclysm to come out a decent distance from SC2.

And blizzard probally needs the gap so they can resolve battle net issues. Not to mention that would be late october so the beta would've been running for like 8 months which would be a pretty big money sink hole >>

 

Well from what I remember they said beta was going to run about 3 months so this means its been pushed to 5 instead which is what they original stated but yes i haven"t seen any verification so who knows if this is true.

Its possible just another random person trying to get attention.

 

well im in beta and i still think there are some balance issues to take care of not to mention graphical issues. I think they should also open up the 3v3 and 4v4 to see how the servers handle big big games and the units interact in the battles.

but hey lets just wait and see what happens.

 

Yea, that's a little weird.
If they're releasing already info about the limited edition, and promise a release date in the few weeks, it seems that they have already a solid release date that the beta won't change...

 

Doubtful until I see real evidence.
