I was browsing around Starfeeder and found an interesting Blog entry on another Blog entry that I thought was rather interesting. A person set up a BGH map with 7 comps in a FFA setting and analyzed how they reacted to each other. yeah for some reason when i did it both races owned the zerg early game then it was just terrans vs protoss till the end and protoss, of Course won.
The AI fails? Big surprise. I was littile surprised at the outcome but it makes snese after reading it. The strenght of each race is not limited to singular units but unit mixes and the computer i too stupi to know them and noone took the time to program them in. Also it isn't programmed in inteligent use of AoE skills
I came across this one program that increased the difficulty of the AI. I'm not sure how it does it, but I think it was through some cheating as well as better coding. I don't use it, but if someone wants it I could upload it somewhere.
i know what u were talking about. If its BWAI, then it copies tactics and whatnot from replays of progamers. It doesnt work anymore because of the 1.15 patch
