Its not like Windows where you have to activate it each time you install it. You activate it to your battle.net 2.0 account, and then you can play StarCraft 2 on any machine that has a client installed. If you want to buy it online, you can download the client again by logging into your battle.net account online. I would recommend not doing that and buying the disc instead, because the client install program is 8GB and you would have to back it up to a duel layer DVD.

Did i get this right: ur saying that if i have bnet2 acc, i ll be able to install/download game for free and play it again without buying it and spending my money twice on the same game.

after you purchase it, you will never have to repay for it, ur id will remain online, its all stored online. All you ahve to do is reinstall the game and punch in your email and you can play!

Its great, even if you loose the disc, you can download it again. I really like that (same reason I like Steam).

Still like Steam better in that I can backup the games much easier.
