Starcraft 2 storyline..

Ok Blizzard definitely will NOT tell us anything with the story/plot of SC2

So, as fans, lets start speculating what would happen.

Or lets create our own possible storyline and test how far our imagination goes

== Part 1 ==
4 years after Kerrigan conquered the sector. Mengsk has rebuilt his empire - the Terran Dominion on Korhal. A standing army of relatively large size developed. Along with his dreams of ruling the entire Kropulu Sector. Construction of another Psi Disruptor begins

The Protoss led by Artanis also rebuilt their glorious civilization on Shakuras. (hmm what's gonna happen with Aiur, will the protoss abandon it complete or resettle on the planet? and whats gonna happen with the warp matrix?)

Raynor has no interest in assisting Mengsk and the Terran Dominion but secretly working with a group of Terran rebels that plans to extinguish zerg from the sector

Zeratul shocked by the protoss-zerg hybird. He chases after Samir Duran in order to search for answers. And to prevent the protoss race from extinction, he searches for the Xel'Naga to create another identity (another overmind?) that'll temporarily bring the zerg swarm in a passive state of unison

what will Kerrigan's next plan? i don't want to know......

One day Xel'Naga come to protoss again and.. they say

Xel: U know who we r huh? huh?

Pro: wtf r u?

Xel: Im ur father.

Pro: ...



And then Protoss learns that they actually were as great as their creators but they deserved what they have become(state of selfishness etc...) which made them weaker spiritually.

Now w/ Xel' Nagas' knowledge and teaching, protoss r able to develop new advenced weapons and they know what to do to keep peace in the universe.




yea... Thats right lets fuk all Zerg and colonize all terran.





(Xel'Naga going b to homeland)

Xel1: no.... this isnt what we wanted..

Xel2: yea... sad.. we failed them again..

Xel3: well i like terran. they can also become the pure and elegant being though it will take much longer time than protoss.

Xel1: No... no.. no.. those sick bastards r just dirty smelly bitches. Didnt u see how fast they waste precious resources on each planet?

Xel3: yea... btw, Well what r u going to do when we get home.

Xel2: Lets play Starcraft2

Xel1,3: ......

See, I'm wondering what's gonna happen with the Zerg. Is there gonna be a revolution? How can Sarah control all the Zerg? The Overmind needed all those Cerebrates, and it was a brain the size of a medium sized city.

And I wanna know about those Hybrids Zeratul discovered....

I'm pretty sure the Xel'naga and the Hybrids will play a part in SC2, it was the setup for the game from the first one story-wise.

I expect a big role of Terran Dominion in main plot...probably it will be a playable faction, if not Raynors Boys. One of the concept artworks shows Arcturus Mengsk and his ghost, i supose.
Playable faction for Zerg- Zerg Swarm, and Dark Templars (Zeratul) for Protoss.
But its just speculation.

Sarah have control over the zerg swarm in the Kropulu Sector ONLY....

that means there might be more zerg out there in a nearby galaxy.....zerg that has evolved separately over time, these zerg can be VERY different to the ones in Kropulu.....hence this might lead to an introduction of a new race.

Or blizzard can just threw in a "the Xel'Naga created ANOTHER race, and because we gave them free will, they turned their back on us and now seek to destroy the galaxy"......another new race?

To: ZerglingRUSH......Kerrigan does have cerebrates..........you as the player is one of the cerebrate........which she dictates control over....

Kerrigan launches various secret spies and probes to observe the technological innovations of Terran and Protoss. Seeing the both races developing new tecgnologies like Motherships and large area psionic shields. Kerrigan feels that the zerg can no longer SOLELY depend on biological units. In a desperate bite to incorporate technology, electronics, and psionic power into the swarm, disaster happened. Sending all zerg into (once again) disarray.

Mengsk sees this oppotunity to test his new psi disruptor. It was a success. The zerg turned on each other and destroyed many hive cluster. He also tested his new "weapon of gigantic destruction" on char.

While Arcturus thought the zerg is too busy killing each other, he launches a surprise attack on the Protoss on shakuras. Kerrigan fled the chaos of char and went to the protoss and started 'negotiating'. The protoss captures Kerrigan and put her into a stasis cell.

My version
Protoss: 2 parts
first rebuilding on shakuras and fighting UED and Zerg
2nd following duran and finding out he is farther along with research than thought

Zerg: Other zerg out of kerrigan's control or kerrigans zerg begin an attack on earth while following UED troops

Terran: most likely we will be playing with Jim's troops (I hope not terran dominion i hate them)
Link up with protoss learn about hybrid zerg/protoss try to make a vaccine for the infested so item collection and defense missions. Then hunt kerrigan to give her vaccine. Which leads them to earth because she has launched an attack there.

bonus mission xel'naga show up looking for the science team with a scout force which is more than capable of destroying each race. leaving open to expasion.

I just wanted to ask some things about the story cause I tend to forget some details.
So, Terran: Mengsk gets Korhal, UED are gone from the sector and Raynor goes all rogue...
Protoss: They all go to Shakuras, Aldaris becomes boss and Zeratul's some sort of general and tends to go rogue...
Zerg: Overmind's dead and Kerrigan steals the Zerg and goes rogue...
Duran: Goes rogue and unveils his evil plan...

Ok, so what happened to Aiur? Is ir still Zergified, or did the Protoss sterilize/reclaim it? Where does Raynor actually live? Does he just drift aimlessly in space until something happens? What's an average Protoss' lifespan?

Aiur is sterile if memory serves. They activated some thingie and escaped through a gate.
Reynor is on the run from Mengsk
Razagal (sp?) was the oldest at just over 1000

- Mengsk overthrown the Confederacy, established Terran Dominion
- The Overmind infested and conquered Aiur
- Protoss fought back, Tassadar destroyed the Overmind
- Protoss fled to Shakura, Aldaris died, Zerg vanquished from Shakuras
- UED arrived, captured the Psi Disruptor and the "New Overmind"
- Kerrigan destroyed Psi Disruptor, killed the Overmind, defeated the UED, Protoss, Mengsk

- Raynor and Zeratul went their separate ways and never heard again
- Arcturus went back to Korhal to rebuild his empire
- Protoss went back to Shakuras to rebuild their civilization
- Aiur still left abandon
- Kerrigan - "Queen bitch of the universe"
- Zeratul discovered the Protoss-Zerg hybrid and Duran's true identity

Well it seems I wasn't too far off. For the sequel's story, I presume that a less cartoonish version of my post in the "Kerrigan's Density" thread could be. Here's the summary:

Kerrigan gets defeated by Duran, Duran loses to Zeratul/Raynor, Duran yells "you're too late" or something and bang, the Xel'Naga appear. In the expansion the three join forces to stop the Xel and probably achieve it by using the Xel's own weapons against them. I presume this because it resembles the Warcraft 3 ending, and blizz tend to recycle their archetypes when making characters.

would the protoss and zerg count as Xel'Naga's own weapon?

It seems the Xel's weapon technology is very primitive, remember that they lost to both the protoss and the zerg when they got attacked?

Zeratul, unable to tell his companions about the hybrids, leaves his bretheren with artanis as they try to rebuild there empire after kerrigan crushed them.
He goes out traveling for answers, and cuts himself from the psionic network.

Mengsk rebuilds his terran dominion and imediatly begins to push the zerg back.
BUt for some reason the zerg are passive, and simply retreat away.

And something is bruing on char, the zerg go into a state of increase evolution, kerrigan send out probes to other world to brnig in new species. She can see something comniig in the distance, some thing ancient and terrible, she waits............
