Hello so while playing multiplayer or single player i will get these random freezes that last like 3-5 second. the music loops sometimes and then after a few seconds the game will speed up. I can play the game fine with out any fps drops or latency spikes. i noticed while playing red tower defense most of the time when a wave is about to start spawning it will occur.

I have tried lowering my graphics settings all the way down to low also it does not matter how many units are on the map.

    My specs are
    amd athlon 64 3500+
    gt 240
    1.5gb ram
    windows xp home

Does this happen if you are in offline mode (I heard it was also called guest mode) single player and don't even have internet cable connected?

Weird. Try giving us additional information on your PC, in particular the sound tab. Maybe we can locate an updated sound driver for you?

What is the date on the driver?

*Edit* Didn't realize that the AC 97 drivers were getting so old. Must be because I have an HD based card now.
