I and many others are unable to play StarCraft 2 due to having internet connections that don't allow us to download the 1.0.0 patch and so are forced into a patch loop. There is no solution for us other than a manual patch. Is there anyone out there who knows of a mirror for the 1.0.0 patch, or has any information about when it might be available or how Blizzard is going to handle this? Where would patches usually be mirrored and how quickly do they usually go up? Is there anyone here who could somehow upload it for us? I have had the game 2 days and my entire experience so far has been a dialog box telling me I need to patch it.
I know how you feel I hope Blizzard get their SH#T together and sort this Patch out I really want to play the game
I hate melodrama over video games, but this is definitely the worst launch of any title I've experienced before. I've never flat out been unable to even play a game for a full 2 days after buying it, especially not one priced above normal RRP like StarCraft 2, especially not one from a company like Blizzard.. who I consider to be the highest talents in this entire industry. Really sucks, it would take nothing for them to just throw up a link to the patch, it's as if they literally could not care less. Someone needs to call support, I would if I could. I tried emailing but obviously no reply.
