Starcraft 2 Limited Edition ???

What do you think about a SC2 Limited Edition? Will you get it if there is one? And what would you like to see in it?
Mind you I think it'll sell out in 400 nano seconds after it's available to preorder. I know that was the case for all the WOW ones.

Personally I'd want a making of DVD in it. What else I dunno.
I know they're so money making exercises. But still who wants one?

I only buy the Collectors Editions of games that I love a lot. Half-Life 2, Supreme Commander, and it will be Starcraft 2..

 

From what I heard it's the COLLECTORS EDITION. Its a bit more expensive by like 10 - 25 bucks. It includes posters and bonus crap with it. And yes I would try to purchase that edition of Starcraft two =D

 

If I Have the money then I would love to purchase it. I wouldn't mind having extra stuff in it.

 

The only question for me is how many Limited Editions will I buy? Those go for quite a lot on eBay a few months or years later

 

If I had money, I would order one But as long as I don't keep track of updates nowadays, the edition would be sold out by the time I even notice it.

why not ? But if we have to preorder it I will not be able to buy it cause we need a Credit Card. I prefer to buy it in shops even one month after everybody

 

Just preorder it in a store and put the usual $10 cash deposit on it. And you pay the rest on the day. No credit cards involved.

 

There's pretty much never a shortage of disc games in stores. World Of WarCraft didn't have any shortages so I'm almost certain StarCraft II won't have an shortage. That goes the same for the Limited Edition. Blizzard wants to maximize their profits so they aren't going to put a limit on the number of them created that wouldn't benefit them.

 

Thats brilliant man. Though I think we gotta pay extra or something. Oh well its worth is cause it Starcraft 2. Anyways what do you think will be included in the Collectors edition??

 

The usual, developer commentary, some extra art, maybe a wallpaper...

 

.. hopefully a soundtrack and DVD Remaster of the cinematics like the other Blizzard games with Collector's/Limited Editions.

TychusFindlay thats just...... awesome. That would be one of the best things they could have in it, though it would be pretty pricey. Oh well I just hope its under eighty-bucks. Also it would be nice if it included something like a coupon for buying Starcraft 2 T-shirts or something, but that just seems like pushing it a bit.

Yeah most of us will only do just that see it. If WOW is anything to go by. They'll be out of reach for most people. Due to sell outs

 

I don't think WoW is a good example because it contained in-game bonuses that Blizzard probably wanted to keep rare. StarCraft II will most likely just have the usual soundtrack and Cinematic DVD (Maybe even Blu-Ray now) which has no need to be rare especially when Blizzard considers the extra money that they would make off selling these things
