Starcraft 2 leak full game???

When will this game be leaked around my prediction is 2 weeks before release date. What do you guy think when it will be leaked for torrent download?

 

don't care. I've waited years and years for this game and I'm getting the real thing. Money is no object.

 

Belive me I would pay an extra couple hundred to get it early it not about money its about me being impatient and wanting it as soon as possible. I download it early then buy a copy in which I will never open that the plan.

 

I wonder who leaks these games?.....

 

I doubt it's going to be leaked early. Blizzard is pretty good about keeping their full games off the interwebs prior to release. But if it is PM me ASAP. Still going to buy the game since I love the multi player anyways. Single player could be as good as jesus.

 

I thought this was started as an objective discussion about how long it'd take for the game to leak. But not in the sense that you can't wait to get your hands on it. Seriously? If you want a sealed copy, buy two, and only open and use one. A much better alternative to what you're suggesting.

 

Well i'd say maybe 2 weeks or a month until theres some sort of hack. Maybe even a week if the hackers are fast. As to who leaks the games. A lot of hackers. Theres quite a few groups of hackers solely dedicated to leaking games such as Skulptura (I believe thats the name otherwise its Skulruptra).

 

@kuvasz- I'm not sure he was saying he wants a sealed copy, rather, if he has a cracked version of it on his comp he wouldn't have use for the copy he does buy. I think it's more so about wanting to play it ASAP but then buying it when it does come out in order to support the franchise. How he would plan on playing online with a cracked copy...well, I guess there are private servers for that.

I'll torrent the game early then buy it when it comes out too. Don't look at me like that. I down right steal other games...ok, now you can look at me like that.

@Mako- Are you kidding? Blizz leaks like a rusty ship made out of Swiss cheese. I'd expect to see a copy of it on the web about 2 weeks before release, much like War3 and it's expansion.

 

I wouldn't even consider playing a leaked version.

I think this is where laziness or a busy life comes in handy. We want the best experience with the least amount of effort put into it, and downloading, copying, and then being able to play a few hundred people with next to no online features is not that buying, installing, then going OMG, now that's what I'm looking forward to.

Since you have to login to play, wouldn't blizzard know who had leaked copies?

Blizzard betas tend to end only a week before release. So any early leak is just "late beta" without a campaign or full map editor.

Also, good luck playing on the full version of battle.net without a proper copy. I don't think it'll try to update your beta patch 17 or whatever version to full patch 1 or 2.

 

I doubt you can update the final beta version to the full game anyway.
Most likely so many fixes and additions, that a full reinstall is required.

 

Why leak it anyway? The next phase of the beta should be out in another week i'm guessing...

 

What makes you think that? War3 and Frozen throne campaigns were both leaked. Also a crack for the beta was out maybe a 1 week or 2 after it started. So the "late beta" leak you speak of already exists.

@Jasmine- You have to be logged in just to install it. Hackers though; being hackers, circumnavigate such measures. You won't be able to play online unless someone hosts private servers... like they did with War3 or people even do with WoW.

I wans't aware of this. I know at least one fansite got an "early copy", but I was under the impression a store broke the release date. Otherwise someone had to steal the campaign from Blizzard, which should have been difficult. (Did someone break into an employee's house or something?)

*Shrugs* It's not really late beta yet, and anyway, beta isn't the full game. But I really meant "last patch beta" when I said "late beta".

 

I think it's Blizz employees/friends/fam members leaking it really, as they get dibs early. How or why exactly, who knows.

By late beta I thought you meant it would be nothing but a beta crack that came out a week before the game.

What it really is:
You can only play agaisnt 3rd party AIs. The whole process is a bit of a pain in the *** if you don't know what you're doing. I honestly wouldn't have bothered if I hadn't just gotten my new comp and wanted to see how creamy smooth the game would run on ultra.


For the record, I don't care if someone PM's me. I'm not telling you were to find the crack. It's agaisnt ze rules . If you honestly don't know yet, you won't be able to figure it out anyways.

Also, I really don't support pirating SC2 without intention to buy a legit copy ASAP. I want a crack (pun not intended) at the single player as soon as I can; I'm still buying it day one.
I don't mind stealing games from EA (I've actually had to torrent games I BOUGHT from them because of their DRM BS) or most big studios. I do want to see SC2 sales skyrocket. I also want to see D3 sales through the roof.

People pirating the for charity game pack are immense assholes too.

When war4 is ready to come out, **** that franchise. Really couldn't care less about warcraft. Where's that next gen mmo?

P.S. It's creamier than Baileys in a blender.

 

Probably a week but it'll take some time to get past the online activation so given this time I'd say ... six days before

@BloodHawk: I've read that leaks are done by quality testers (not beta testers, the people the pressing companies that check for problems) and employees of retailers who get the games early.
