I hate how blizzard is taking so long to release starcraft 2 its
just so annoying that they wont just ship it out its obviously finished i really
wanna play it already! judging im sure its ready for atleast a beta test. just waiting for them to
tell us its canceled due to budget cuts i guess getting really annoying i mean
you cant even try it out when its this close to release i mean common blizzard
how about a little sympathy for your followers. just a taste would be nice
i'm betting those battle reports are fake. its probably just me but i am
feeling that its going to be a long while before we see anything that we can play!

LOL, I wasted a few seconds here.... don't worry buddy I'm sure others feel just as much as you do. For the meantime, just sleep for 6 months and pray that it will be released by then, simple right? hahahha!!!

    Been there, done that.

Chill, the more time Blizzard puts into SC2, the more of a masterpiece it will become. Beta before December, I'm sure of it.

Blizzard is playing a strange game. You know I think they MUST take their time even if they could have finished the development months ago.

I compare Blizzard to a metal worker. Imagine that you break your key inside the lock to enter your house. You call a metal worker to repair the lock and give you another key. Well this guy can repair all this in 10 minutes. BUT he will last 1 hour to get paid one hour, not 10 minutes. Else the customer would say 'hey, you just took 10 minutes I will not pay for 1 hour'.
the Blizzard devs team is playing this little game. It is to get their salary. They work moooooonnnnnonths in developing the game than taking the right time. If they made SC2 in 1 year the devs would have been paid for their 1 year of work. While they're working for years they will get paid for their years. It is more interesting for them. What's the interest for them to create a game in one year and then go away ? What will they do ? Nothing, so they take their time.

That's just a thought .... HOW BAD FROM ME ! How nasty I am !!

That's exactly what Blizzard is doing. Or I become paranoid !

I doubt blizzard is doing that what sogeking said, while it may pay for the developers to make their work unnecessarily longer, what's in it for blizzard? Blizzard has the last word, not the developing team, so that theory isn' t valid (in my opinion at least). But what's the real reason i don't know... Maybe they wanna get us all fired up with waiting and making a big publicity in the meantime, so more and more people hear about sc2 and get excited about it and when the release day finally comes - buy it

@SOGEKING: No offense. That was painful to read. I hate to be rude but I call it like it is. Fail is fail and that's what that was. You didn't take a damn thing factual into consideration. You have some fear that Blizzard is going to become some greedy company so you ignore all logic, facts, and come up with some lame conclusion like you have no idea how the world works.

Also, there's a reason we're anticipating this game at all. It's because they took their time on the previous games. Just go play some other games or get some other hobbies. That is a great way to pass the days.

I can't say anything else because this is all I hear:

yes, you're rude. don't judge me, okay ?

Have you read what I wrote ? "That's just a thought [what I wrote before] .... HOW BAD FROM ME ! How nasty I am !!"

    All right now ?

all blizzard games are good... and the people that don't thing they're good are either non-gamers or are part of very few.... Blizzard hasn't made alot of games (don't count expansions...) In the last 12 years (when SC was released) they released Warcraft III and WoW as well as D2.. 3 Games with like in total 6 expansions (I'm not 100% sure) But this proves that Blizzard aims for top quality... The best chess players in the world don't take 2 seconds to make a move....

I'm not judging you. I'm just telling you what I think. If you didn't want to get feedback on your opinion then you shouldn't have posted it.

Excellent: it'll be the best game of all time if they let it stew till 2012, yes?

Forgive me if I seem to be flogging a dead horse, but we all know that 2007 was too early to reveal SCII; 2008 would have been appropriate. While I may be impressed with the game itself, Blizzard's PR has left much to be desired of late (the constant delays on every level, which, frankly, strike me as incompetent publicity stunts); Blizzard ought to be castigated, certainly. But what can we do about it? Boycott SCII, the game we all want? This is not a dilemma with any easy solutions, but I think we ought to inform Blizzard in no uncertain terms that we, the fans, are fed up with their premature announcements.

    **OFF TOPIC**

I usually don't comment on rude posts, Mr. DeckardLee, but you insisted that fans who ''don't want to get feedback on [their] opinion ... shouldn't [post].'' Pardon my forwardness, but I understood this to be an invitation to offer you some feedback. This, after all, is a forum intended for fans to express and evaluate opinions. Mr. Lee, as an insightful individual capable of formulating and deconstructing arguments, you know that certain opinions are better than others. And as such an individual, you surely realise that no opinion is so childish and impertinent as the one you just posted above; if you know you're right, then do point it out --diplomatically. You know as well as I, Mr. Lee, that being ''right'' is easy when faced with a dubious argument (such as the one presented by SogeKing). I wish to underline the fact that it is so easy that a mature and confident debater will not consider ''being right'' a thing worth relishing or emphasising. Furthermore, what does an intolerant, conceited rebuttal gain for its author other than a nasty reputation? Now, we have already agreed that SogeKing's premise was erroneous: would you have conceded anything by politely pointing out the flaws in his argument? Perhaps I am mistaken (and if I am, please show me how), but I believe that gently reproving your fellow fans (rather than abasing both them and yourself through demeaning posts) is far more endemic to the general spirit and purpose of a fan forum. Would you not agree, Mr. Lee?

Well then thats just your opinion. Red alert is not as epic as starcraft to be considered a threat. It maybe a competitor, but I'm very confident that all RTS gamers know which game is better.

I think I am going to agree to Sogeking on the point that Blizzard isn't working at 100%.
But not because they want to be payed for over9000 years.
instead, the longer wait, the more überhappynerdness when it's released.
