Starcraft 2 Hydralisk High Definition

I was watching a trailer and I feltlike screen shotting the part where the Hydralisk thing gets shot, as you can't see it in great detail. But I have it in great detail for you Zerg lovers and others.

Wow the eyes looked kinda photo shopped, but other then that its alright. It also looks like the Hydra has evolved or adapted a bit, more spikes, more Defense... LOOKS AWESOME

Is it just me or does the last screenshot look a lot like a frog?

It has multiple claws, just like in one of the artworks. This might be very close to what the in-game model will look like.

Lol, forget about the eyes look at the complete win emitting from the Hydralisk. I hope Blizzard keeps the Zerg looking consistant becuase that design right there I'd say is beautiful.

Didn't the Hunter Killer hero Hydralisks in the first Starcraft have red eyes?

I really like the current art style they are going with in Starcraft 2 and Blizzard always does a good job in that area.

 

Wow, that looks almost exactly like the concept art! Man, I hope the ingame model looks like that. As far as Zerg go, that's downright sexy.

 

They even made the simple Zergling look like a star player, judging that it is a Zergling in your display Kaaraa (which I used to think was a Hydralisk for some reason)

 

Those screens look very good! However, you have to remember that this is cgi and that the ingame model can turn out different. Just take a look at the warcraft 3 trailers or ingame movies and the actual units. That should be some good material to compare. I might post some screens later on.

 

Yea, I love that profile. I hope we can see a hatching cinematic for the Zergling that was as cool as Tychus getting geared up ;D

I have a feeling that once all the balance work is complete and Blizzard are 100% sure what is what, the graphics will take a big turn and become extremely sexy and less 'blocky'.

 

yeah, i have a feeling at the end...graphics will change dramatically. and you will probably require 1.5 to 2 rams or something =]
