    I wonder if there are any girls who like StarCraft? I can't wait to get it.
    Unfortunately I didn't play the Beta yet... :(

    Hey Svenja,

    I have played Starcraft, and I like the game some, but not too much. I don't really play games that often to get into them though.

    I'm here because I'm interested in game design, and I like seeing what people enjoy in games. I know Starcraft is very popular :)

    This question I asked myself once, too. And the answer I got was that there are not so many playing.

    HAHA, I just noticed the thread title. But I would imagine having SC tattooed all over your grills would make your teeth look very dirty.

    Welcome to the forum Svenja, enjoy your stay. We used to have a few SC girls here, Kura and Protosschick, to name just two. But currently you're the only active one (which, judging by experience, will also change :D).

    StarCraft is a PvP game --most female gamers seem to want a title in which there's cooperation, negotiation, socialisation, and such.

    Dunno about starcraft but the gaming world is filled with gamer girls, its just that they often get picked on or pointed out if spoken out.

    edit: My experience on gamer girls is they usually dominate the clan informally (i.e. end up wielding a lot of power, but not necessarily as the gm/gl).

    By the way: I think most of the girls don't reveal there gender for obvious reasons (**** or GTFO) - but most gaming girls seem to be playing WoW .... at least i met thousands of women there....:D

    Sadly, that is true. Witht that mentality a person may aswell freak out at the "grand surprise" of getting a black boss.

    I don't personally know any girls that enjoy SC2, but there are quite a few that play random games like MW2, Halo, etc.

    Also, I'm amazed this thread hasn't divulged into "PICS!!!"
