Starcraft 2 forum sig generator with your BN data

Hey,

I wanted to let you know about signature generator I have made and is accessible under http://starcrafting.eu/sig_generator
You can see examples in my signature and here are other layouts:




Data on picture is updated every 2 hours (probably this will be longer in future, when there will be many signatures). You can also just re-create signature with the same parameters to have your data refreshed (link will stay the same).
I know about issues with Bnet profiles which do not have their EN version (e.g. TW, KR), I will work for their support also.
Piece of additional infromation is on home page of generator.

Please let me know what you think about them and you can post here any issues

 

Good that they show 1v1,2v2,3v3,4v4 etc but i really dislike the colour and text.

I prefer sc2sig because its easy on the eye and clear.

 

Hehe yeah, it's a matter of taste. I made my generator mostly because I did not like that style and wanted to have dynamic data on it

 

The font and font colour are okay, but the black background does makes it difficult to read. Look at the gray background of the quote boxes in this forum. See how that slightly lighter colour makes the text much easier to read.

 

Thanks, I'll check how adding a little colour will affect this.

 

how do you find the link to your profile?

 

Go to battle.net web page, click on starcraft 2 image, log in (top right of the page), click your name which appeared in place of "Log In" button.
Example link should look like this:

Hey pooma, I am the creator of sc2sig.com and the signatures are of course dynamic. The update rate slowed down to about 8-10 hours over time because there are just so many signatures to update, but that should still be fast enough

I take your copying of most of my creation steps and even the wording in the embed code as a compliment, thank you

 

Hi Leidenschafft I know your sigs are dynamic, I just meant that I wanted to keep it this way
Embed code to get one of my signatures is only in my sig, it's not standard ;-)
As for creating steps - I don't think there was any better way to do it for start, I am thinking on something different, more adjustable.

Anyway, I'd love to see some webservice from Blizzard, these profiles are so heavy...
