RTSes for consoles aren't even decent. Control is complete crap, micro is difficult, selecting units and moving the cursor is a chore.

The only RTS for the console that I like is Goblin Commander. They changed the system a bit to make it easier.

Starcraft wouldn't do well on a console.

I truly doubt that Blizz will realease it for XBOX... Some games are just not made for consoles, especially RTSs

It's a bit farfetched imo. It says about cross-platform in first option but second says only " Tactical dynamics create the best RTS until Starcraft 2." Nothing about sc2 for xbox is mentioned here

PC is always the key for RTS games

The SC1 being ported to the DS by a heap of fans seems to control quite well. But I agree the PC/Mac/anything with a keyboard and mouse is the best set up for an RTS.

Well until the day I can use the power of thought to move that Marine to it's destination.

I've heard people playing WoW on the Wii, which I thought was interesting enough. As for a RTS? Man, reminds of Command and Conquer, but for SC2? I'd stick with my PC.

I'd play on both, but PC more. I don't think SC2 would handle well on 360, being an RTS. I'd prbably do it for achievements, than switch to PC. :D

    I wouldn't play it on a console.

As for the best tactical dynamics until SC2 thing:  No f'ing way.  The tacticle synamics of UaW blow Blizzard games out of the water

SC2 will still be a great game though.

The Wii is really changing everything we thought we knew about consoles. I can see it working on the Wii.

On the 360, not really, no. MAYBE the second analog could be used in a four-point command system (Meaning pressing UP is the same as the attack button, LEFT is Patrol, so on and so forth)....I mean, you could make it PLAYABLE for sure, but the end product...I'm not sure anyone actually WOULD play it.

    Stupid, and retarded? How?

Well I think it would be... alright (Starcraft 64 >.> NO!) Well it would cool if the Xbox made some RTS games, and made like a mouse for the Xbox 360 like the Super NES had for Mario Paint, it was awesome. If it is going to be put on Xbox it should have different things, but I don't think the 360 can handle Starcraft 2 graphics. Can it?

Hows it end of story don? Thats your opinion, and can you explain why you wouldn't like it? ;D I think it would be an okay idea. I think the console version would have a major disadvantage, but to make that up it should get an advantage. Just like Halo (#1) on PC had a Flamethrower.

Ok well I suppose my statement was a tad bias but its my opinion, you loss 60% of the effective micro-ing and that makes for less fun, at least as far as I see it. Personally I think the computer is just more versatile and usable, control based rts's have never succeeded in the past and I doubt they will now. Anyone remember Starcraft 64? Yeah they did do it but it flopped horribly.

I have heard of it, but never played it. People say there were totally different cheats. Eg. Little Elymer (Something like that) Gives you all these Dragoons, and Zealots (Past food limit) I'm not sure if its a lie or not, but thats what I heard.

It should go multiplatform. PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. I would buy the PC and PS3 versions (PS3 has a much nicer open online interface). So the editor would be compatible essentially with the PC and PS3 versions (360 does not support custom user made items). It would be great because if I had a friend over we could play SC2, one on the PS3 and one on the PC. Also each platform would have BNET access, so anyone could play anyone on any system, although I imagine the 360 may not have the appropriate processing power to play matches that contain more then four players. So I would actually probably say PS3 and PC, with a dumbed down version for the 360.

EDIT: The PS3 version could easily support wireless keyboard and mouse, much like Unreal Tournament 3.
