Starcraft 2 doesn't have "Name already taken"

My account name is Epic, and when I joined a game, I saw this other guy named "Epic"

It frustrates me because I bought the game on the day it came out so I could get a name that is really hard to get when it gets more popular. Can you please fix this

 

We're not Blizzard employees; this is a fansite. If you want a name change, call Blizzard customer support, or just deal with the fact that one out of every hundred people you play with will have the same name as you.

 

This is possible because of the friend codes, by the way.

 

I think it's just fine as it is.


Also we could not fix it. None of us are secret blizzard employers working on a next-gen MMO named shadowangel, and thus have no way to speak with them.

 

Okay guys, lets get serious. This is a "feature" of battle.net 2.0. You are identified by your unique code after your name. Anyone can have the same name. Not everyone likes it (I know I don't), but that's what we have to deal with. :/ Now everyone can be SSJVegita and Neo.



Did I give away my age with that? lol

 

Nah, there are lots of adult sweaty guys that like Dragonball Z. and as long as you don't quote the second or third movie, any age under 50 could like Neo.
