Starcraft 2 Demo?

Hi, a fansite around starcraft 2 has announced on their front page that they have a playable demo of Sc2.. The one Shown at Blizzcon. Now, normally i wouldent belive crap like this since it probably would be all over the internet but i still wonder if anyone know anything..?

It sais the following..

"January 26th, 2008. The Multiplayer Demo
StarCraft 2 Multi-Player Demonstration as available at Blizzcon. No CDKey, No Full Copy, This is a Demo, so all of the bugs are not worked out yet. Siege tanks going into siege mode look like they are flying for a second. Give us your feedback, we play on Augustrad server; You can find us in channel Zone on Augustrad. No Beta Yet. But this just means we're one step closer."

It sais it's powered by Zango aswell, no idea what that is..

Blizzard has not released a demo so anything out there is a trap to infect your computer and even if they had gotten the demo somehow (impossible or somone is getting fired) it would be illegal anyway.

can't blame a dude for wanting it to be true though right ? ^^

 

Yeah. I wish they had started selection for the beta and that I was in it.

 

I would love to test the beta version, but seeing as that I do not have any importance outside this forum, I highly doubt it...

But yes, that demo is a fake, and has been talked about a few times on this forum. Do not click on it unless you want to risk catching a computer virus.
