Starcraft 2 Campaign problems after new patch

I went into my account today and before i could go in i had to download the new patch which is all fine, but after going in and trying to continue my campaign, i'm only up to zero hour hard difficulty, I'm a straight newb, it told me i had to log out and open the older version of sc2, so does this mean that I have to play 24 hours straight and try to complete the campaigns beceause every time a new patch comes out i wouldn't be able to continue where i last left off? What is up with this, this is annoying as hell, especially for someone who does not spend 18 hours a day playing starcraft 2...it would be impossible to finish the campaigns for me.....also when i agreed and clicked yes i'll log out and then play using the older version, the loader almost finishes then it just freezes and don't even work...has anyone else experienced this? IF so, do any of y'all have any solution?

 

I'm in the same boat as you Jimbo. I'm extremely annoyed because I don't play all that much and now I really don't want to start all over again. Infact I'm not going to. not any time soon anyway.
I've never played any game that makes you start from scratch after an update. I believe Blizzard MUST have known that this would really annoy people. Is it too much to expect a little more respect than that? We payed good money for this game.
Anyhoo enough of my ranting. If anyone can help please do

 

I've found a solution to our problem, all you have to do is when the option comes up saying you have to open up the older version, you just click yes you want to open up the older version, wai for it to load and then once your in the game go to menu and click on abort mission, and from there you would be able to load the game as normal, hope this helps!
