Blizzard Entertainment has announced that all World of Warcraft accounts must be converted to a Battle.net 2.0 Account effective November 11, 2009. Speculation: Starcraft II Beta was delayed a few months ago due to the Battle.net 2.0 platform not been complete. What does that have to do with World of Warcraft? Basically, Starcraft II, Diablo III and World of Warcraft players will be able to communicate with each other through the Battle.net Friend List. We could see in screenshots how the World of Warcraft friends list displayed Starcraft II icons to the side of your friend’s name, and vice versa. Thus, my two-cents is that this imminent deadline to convert WoW Accounts to a Battle.net Account is an initial step prior to announcing Starcraft II Beta. Also blizzard stated beta test would be around 4-6 months so if they want to hit the deadline for the first part of the 2010 it would seem beta would have to hit around Nov or Dec. This is pretty old and the general consensus is that it doesn't mean anything more than most other "hints" do. Yes, beta is imminent. That's for sure. But, I doubt it's going to be as soon as some people think.
It is probable that the beta is coming for soon. Good links between those changes between WoW and battle.net 2.0 that announce SC2 beta.
I bet soon people will start to see "signs" everywhere, like strange cloud-formations and Blizzard-logos in their food. Then when it's finally out people will start to talk about what they were doing and how they got the news, it'll be known only as The Beta, like I was taking a crap when my friend shouted that The Beta was out. Each more interesting than the next Anyway, does anyone know if people are allowed to record their plays with programs like Fraps and upload to YouTube with the beta? I don't think I've read a warning like that in particular, at the same time I don't really see any things like beta-game footage on other games on youTube. Then again I haven't really been interested in a beta, well ever
I saw a video that a guy took with a physical camera pointing at his computer screen...it was SC II. I think that there is some people playing it. It was really old, but there was some vultures... I'm positive of this. I haven't seen it in a long time though.
The prophecy will come to pass when time is right, those who know will do what they must, and the masses wil be pleased. Or very angry if **** goes wrong.
Thanks Fake ID is 100% undeniably correct. Blizzard should be proud of how they've got us looking for signs everywhere. Also, the community is free to record anything they want. The reason there's no beta footage is because.. well .. there is no beta yet; only Alpha
