    Yeah, so i bought the game a few hours ago at a store, and i came home and started to install it. While it was being installed, it asked me to register the game to a blizzard store account, so i did. After the installation of Starcraft 2 was complete, i let it patch up and all that, then i started the game. I tried to type the account info and the password, but it keeps saying this:

    "This Battle.net account does not include an associated copy of Starcraft II. Please log into Battle.net account management and add the game to your account."

    Well, i went and checked, the game was active, and i went to check my email messages, there was only some message about a WoW account being used by someone else, which i used my trial on and it asked me to verify my account or something like that at a page and "follow the instructions". Well, it brought me to a login screen, i logged in and it only showed me to check either Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 or some warcraft websites, and i was confused. Then, i went to my gamelist, and saw that the Starcraft 2 game had dissappeared from the list! I tried to re-type the activation code into the box, but it just said "An error occured". Well, tried it like 5 times, and gave up for a while, tried to log into SC2 again, but didn't work. I went back to my account, and BAM, i had 5-6 Starcraft copies with the same activation key... Still have no idea what to do, i really need help...

    Also, i live in Europe, Finland.

    Go to page 5, it should have a fix, doesn't work for everyone, but some people might get their games working. Good luck.

    I did some "research" on the internet, and heard a rumor that the Battle.net server are down untill 6 PM, not sure about the GMT time, but people in America can play, or so i heard... Might as well try and wait until 6 PM or later, if that doesn't work, we're f*cked...

    Hi guys,

    Same problem here - I purchased Starcraft 2 this afternoon by purchasing the game online on Battlenet ( had downloaded the game content before though ).

    Purchase went fine, and I wanted to start up the game; after initial configuration it asked me to log on with my Battlenet account which I did - and it told me that there is no active registered copy of the game available on my account???

    Heck, I just purchased the game - didn't receive any confirmation E-mail though ...

    I checked my Battlenet account and Starcraft 2 is registered and active????
    What is happening here?:wacko:

    I want to play!!!!! Tried calling support line of Blizzard, but their phonelines are not available anymore due to high volume of calls....that figures:eek:

    If the game doesn't work around tomorrow, which is when i'm going to try again, if not earlier, i'm going to try using one of the 2 guest trial passes on my alternative account and re-install the game by downloading it, and trying to log on that account. Maybe that'll work, but it would be epic failure then... Why would the game i bought from a shop not work? What did Blizzard f*ck up this time? Why will it just not work? I hate Blizz sometimes... Making such weird ways to activate accounts on specific CD keys and games and stuff...

    My transactions - For some reason, propably because i didn't buy my game online - don't have anything in them, so... no idea, might be something that Blizzard themselves have to activate the accounts or something, we will see... Don't know if you bought yours online or not, but, i'll re-check if my transactions do have something.

    Yep, nothing in the Transactions list, also might be due to the fault of so many people buying and activating this game in a single day, i mean, really, there's ****loads of people who bought it... We shall see in the near future how our games go...

    Had to restart computer, my computer was lagging so bad and the connection on this website was constantly going down. So, yeah, i haven't seen any other threads like this on any other forums, due ot the game got out only today, and the only threads about troubleshooting are from the Beta.

    Also, my mouse went out of batteries, tried over 3 pairs, none worked, finally found ones that work.

    I bought the game today in store (27 of July), i have created a n account but can not play the game since i can not log in the game. I think ther are the problem.

    Look guys I'm in NZ and am having the same problem, I just gave my details to my mate who is more PC experienced than I am, he tried all the things we have, like re adding the game to your bnet account, I'm reinstalling it as we speak, but atm it looks like a backlog of ppl attempting to process the game to their accounts and this is clogging the connection the games uses to access the information of the game that has been added to our accounts, Their is No denying it this game is popular, so it makes sense.

    Got an email back from blizzard saying to uninstall the game then reinstall using the download through sea.battle.net. But my Internets ****, like super crap, if anyone else does it and it works please tell me

    I sent a message to Blizz support like what, over 12 hours ago, but no reply, i was asking help about this problem. Also, i looked up from the OFFICIAL Starcraft 2 forums, there was also people with the very same problem. I tried to contact Blizz due to a person saying he and his friends were having the same problem, but when he contacted Blizz, they did something and got his game to work, but not his friends... So, might as well wait, or i might go on and try to re-install the game via Blizzard store.

    Anyway, i cant log into that forum for some reason, Say that You have emailed tech your problem and they just told you to download the game off the net to check if that works cause it should, apperntly instead of fixing the problems

    Ok, so, i used the Blizzard store account to download the game, but got to 11% in 2 hours, and i got enough, at the best speed, with no programs on, i could have downloaded it in 5 hours, and if i had some other programs on, would have taken over 12 hours, so i stopped downloading. I'm currently re-installing the game via the CD and trying my account, if it doesn't work, i'll download the game via the internet, but that i shall do at night while i sleep, i'd be bored out of my mind if i downloaded it right now...

    GOD, we all paid to play a game we bought, so why do we have to do all this ****? This is seriously just stupid... if we bought a game, why can't we play it? It's retarded, i tell ya... Stupid Blizz failed once again. I really wanted to play this, but no. Not even a chance.

    Please don't double post. Use the edit function!

    If you get it after going through the disk again I'm going to be pissed I did that like 3 hours into this annoying little ***** of an error, seriously been 12 hours since i picked it up, and 9 since i got home with it, **** i kinda abated my Star craft thirst by playing SC 1 for a bit, well I'm going to go to sleep man, keep me posted
