I am curious what improvements the skirmish AI will include for starcraft 2. I have read that it will scout much like a player and possibly change tactics accordingly. Is starcraft 2 going to have some real AI in it as opposed to the usual throw some rules together in a scripting language? The AI in starcraft is pretty weak by todays standards although good for the time. Come to think of it the AI in most RTS games still really is not that good and still cheats. I realize it will be many years still before hardware can handle true AI in real time but hopefully starcraft 2 has something more advanced then basic scripts like starcraft 1.
