Remember when he came Iphone and then Iphone 3G? People were in line (even the day before) to purchase the Iphone.

Interested in me when Blizzard decides to sell StarCraft 2 that there will be also a great hold, or not what you think where it could be? In which cities ... etc. ..

My guess is Blizzard will distribute enough to stop serious queuing from needing to happen, as it is with videogame, the stores will be getting enough stock often enough for only the real hardcore gamers to 'need' a copy as soon as possible.

"Queuing" is not a computer term. It is a perfectly standard English word that means "standing in line" or "forming a line." I think the only weird thing about it is that it is used more in Britain than the US.

For the most part, people don't stand in line for software except to say that they did, or to be among the first when a shipment arrives. It is incredibly inexpensive to stamp a DVD and stick it in a box, so it is incredibly easy to make enough boxes for everyone that wants one.

If this were a hardware release- a game console, or above cited iPhone, then it may be reasonable to queue up: hardware is expensive to mass-produce, and it is very possible that there will be shortages.

Assuming I haven't arranged something else by then, I personally intend to just walk to the nearby Wal-Mart, and pick the game up at the store on launch day.

Hmm thanks for the correction Neon, always nice to learn. I guess I got my head so far up in computers it just seems to be a word almost completely associated with computers for me. That is probably because of all the Binary Tree's I have had to make recently.

Personally I just wait at home where its warm. I tend to be patient with games.

I doubt my job would like it too much...

"I can't make it in the next few days...."
    "Why is that?"
"Standing in line for a video game!"
"Why don't you stand in that line indefinitely..."
