Hello Everyone, Ever since the beta started, I've been experiencing some real issues with sporadic FPS. At times it'll be running at a steady 60 FPS and then suddenly drop down to 8 FPS or so. I'm confident the specs my laptop is running should be capable of running at least low settings. However, this isn't the case. If anyone has had this similar issue, or might have any ideas as to a solution to this problem, I'd greatly appreciate it. Basic Specs Operating system: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) CPU: Intel Duo T9400 2.5Ghz Graphics : Geforce 9700mGT Memory : 4GB I own an Asus G50V basically.
There's a beta tech support section on the forum. Not trying to be a ****, just letting you know to keep things tidy. When it drops is there a great deal of action going on or is it really just at random? From your spec I would imagine you should be running at medium at least. I have heard from a good friend that is a professional nerd that win7 on 64-bit isn't fully compatible with most current software. I dunno, but google might. You try contacting Blizz yet? They should be able to help you out more than me.
Sorry for posting it in the wrong section. I completely missed that and I'd be grateful if a moderator moved this thread. I would have to say I experience RANDOM fps drops. I'd simply be increasing my probe count in the first 2 minutes of the game and I will experience a heavy drop in frame rates. It's so bad I can't play. How would I get in contact with Blizz about this problem? I thought they'd just tell me it's my hardware's fault.
