Hi, I am huge fan of the Starcraft Universe...or was until I got a job went off to college and such, well now that I finished college I am going back to my roots of why I loved games (Computer games, and tabletop(Warhammer, Warmachine etc...)), too me I love the games mainly if they had a good storyline. An open ended story is something that I appreciate even more. When I finished Brood Wars way back when it kinda irked me when the UED was wiped out, but wasn't too upset about it. Well it's been brewing in my mind for quite some time now about a story of a UED psyker (not a fully trained Ghost...yet) that got left behind helps defend a backwater outpost from a rogue zerg attack and because of his abilities he gets found by the Dominion's scientists and gets tested and experimented on. I stumbled across the idea of "Spectre" when I was just browsing a Starcraft Wiki, anybody else know a thing or two about them? Who made them? What kind of powers do they have? Are they just "Super-Ghosts"? Anybody be interested in reading this story once I get everything hammered out? Thank you for all your help
When it comes to the questions about the spectres, all the info known is at the wiki. The spectres were supposed to be in StarCraft: Ghost, but the game got canned and Blizzard released virtually no lore about them. They will appear in the StarCraft: Ghost novel, called Spectres, in April 2010. That's a bit of a wait, needless to say. If you have StarCraft: Frontline: Volume 3, there's a miniscule amount of lore on them in Do No Harm.
