What would you chums think of a new option in the "allied vision" section? Here's the idea: there would be an extra option allowing an ally to "paint" how much or how little vision he would like to share with you. I realize this would impact pros very, very little; but wouldn't it be fun in a casual match with some buddies? You could, say, hide away a secret base of your own, and then when you are inevitably back-stabbed, you would have a definite advantage... anyway, I am sure that you, with your powers of imagination, can come up with tons of cool uses for such an option. Or, maybe you can't and the option sucks! Let me know either way!

Interesting idea. I sounds like a cool addition to the b-net matches.

But how would you be able to "paint" what area you would want them to see, and how would you make it so your allies couldn't tell. I'm sure they would notice if one of your workers suddenly disapears from your LOS.

They could 'paint' it using a grid system. So were you click on the extra option grid is were they are allowed to share sight with you.

I like the secret base idea, useful especially at huge maps. And it is realistic, you don't want to share everything with your allies either :)
