I couldnt find any straight answers to this anywhere, on google or at this site. There was one thread that sounded promising but it was off topic. So im wondering if anyone knows if starcraft 2 will offer a spawn install. One of the things that made sc1 great was that you could go to ur friends with one disc and everyone payed the game. I was sorta uncertain in SC2 because the size of the game will probably by about 6-10 gigs when its finished, and then there is the price of the game. So what im expecting will be that they release it and then after a few years release a spawn install feature when sales have peaked and the prices are down below 20 bucks or something. Anyone know anything about this?

no game offers spawn installing anymore. THey get more money if they sell full copies

  3. And that's why I hate most people these days. They only care about their filfthy money. No longer do they care about how their customers feel. That's the way of EA, at least, and it seems Blizzard is slowly following their path...

Uhm... There was this thing called The Burning Crusade. You may've heard of it? It's the expansion pack to the original World of Warcraft game.

Because Blizzard's games are total crap.

    Unbearable things they are.

No. Not unbearable. At least not to everyone. But I mean, Burning Crusade made the thousands upon thousands of hours obtaining the latest gear, completing Attunement, etc., all obsolete. Sixty means nothing anymore. Nobody gives a **** about Tier 2. The same thing has happened yet again with Wrath. So.. Instead of making the lower, formerly end-game levels relevent, they just gave everyone a slap in the face.

WoW is becoming such a challenge for the casual gamer now, because they just expect you to keep the **** up, and in order to do that, you need to have a LOT of free time on your hands.

And not have their game frozen.

But yeah, I doubt there'll be a spawn install for Starcraft 2.

Which can probably go for all games nowadays.

EA makes ok games sometimes (esp when people mod them to make them cooler).

BUT, EA's game support is HORRIBLE, and they programs are just a hassle. I can't reinstall BF2

    What you do:

You install the game. You find a crack. You apply it on every PC.
Then everything should run fine without a disc!
    B-net won't work though.
