Cavez said that once the beta comes out, they would allow the players to make Battle Reports so we should be getting a lot of gameplay content on Blizzard's side for the public to see then.
"Unless something crazy happens, the Beta is going to happen this year." Boy...thats makes me feel really confident. Any bets that it'll be a year before the game has a public release? Kinda makes a christmas release sound unlikely.
I hope they do another battle report soon. They should do the next with a zerg player, not many people have seen any decent gameplay with mid to late tier zerg units.
Have no fear. That's just the usual Blizzard public relation. They have an entirely different tone when they're not relating directly to the public. They just don't want to set themselves up for a situation where they feel any more pressured to release a game by a certain date. In the past, in interviews and transcripts they've been very adamant that we'll get the game by 2009 and the beta will be released a few months from now. I'm still confident we'll a release by December 2009.
I am too very confident it will be released December or earlier. 9 Months is a long time (well for most game companies ) for them to finalize.
hurrr niceeee. I really dont care anymore when it comes out. As long as the game is very successful. I has teh Patience!! xD
I can tell my pacience isn't has good as it was, begining to get annoyed after waiting a year and a half for it after learning about it.
I just focus on my day to day responsibilities, make sure I only spend a certain amount of time around StarCraft related areas, and make sure I'm occupied with other games. Doing this, I could wait for a long time before I get annoyed.
im completely obsessed sadly, i prolly need to get a patch. im constantly trying to fight my previous wow addiction, by looking up new SC2 information pretty much all day. its an addiction im willing to bear though. also 1 post away from 800!!
Well, the info doesn't really make it any more clear to me that we are anywhere near a release, but a little ray of hope every once in a while is rather refreshing. Thanks for the info Seradin.
