Well, I'd answer for them, but I'm afraid I don't speak the weird local Limburgian dialect. Not such a good idea for every village to have it's own language now, is it?

Honestly, inches have and always will make far more sense to me than centimeters ever will. And I've never ever ever heard someone ever use a yard, it's always meters.

Except for football. On an unrelated note, college.

Not that I disagree with your ridiculing of the non-metric system of use in America, I just feel like evening the playing field.

For that reason, I present to our american members How to make fun of someone from Limburg:
    - They vote for the PVV
    - Every village has its own dialect, and every dialect is completely incomprehensible.
    - They claim to have a mountain, yet the highest hill is only 300 meters (roughly 100 feet) above sea level

Got it backwards, 100 meters would be 300 feet, 300m is 900ft.

    Still hella small.

Our American system is so highly advanced that you metric people just aren't able to see the genius of it.
