    Terrifying.

Which would be a better deal.

9800 GT hands down. GT 240 is slightly slower than even the 9600 GT.

Dunno the 9800 has a lot of issues with sc 2 (could be mistaken though since I haven't read up on blizzards tech forum lately)

I had absolutely zero problems with SC2 since the driver update months ago.

Clock rate doesn't really mean much unless the cards have a similar configuration. The GTX 480's core clock runs at 700MHz while the GTS 450 runs at 783MHz but the GTX 480 is much faster. There are a lot of factors affecting GPU performance - number of shaders, TMUs, ROPs, bus width, shader clock, core clock, memory clock, etc - and how those factors affect performance varies per game. That's why best way to choose graphics cards is to look at benchmarks.

Ah. K. I ended up ordering the 9800, partly because I figure it'll be an easy install... My computer won't flip a ****.
