lately i've been getting my but kicked, and im trying zerg and i like it very, very much, but i also love how the terran looks in sc2, and im going to start playing zerg in sc1, just cuz it brings me more fun times than terran does currently, but im kinda fearful that i might betray my terranhood due to the awesomeness of the zerg in sc2 even though i love terrans so far.

    Anyone else having similar problems?

I too have these feelings. Obviously, I am a Protoss fanatic, but there's nothing quite as satisfying as unburrowing 100 Hydralisks.

Same here. I suddenly have thoughts about slaughtering humans.

I can't really relate, I am loyal to Random. I'm practicing with Zerg-oly right now, but that's only because I am working on making it solid for the fansite tournament.

Don't worry about betraying your race, the race won't care. Anyway, I am pretty sure it's not cheating if it's in a different zip code, or it is a different game.

    ---

Fenix: I imagine unburrowing 100 Hydralisks with a single button press (unlimited selection, and all) is, in fact, more satisfying. Actually, I will stop thinking about it, because it's just too satisfying.

I play protoss a lot and am loyal to them in sc1 and can't wait to try the new units in sc2.

However, I play zerg many times because I can micro and macro better with them, and the new unit designs for sc2 look excellent.

So, I'm constantly debating as to which race I will fail at attempting to mastering first.

    somewhere....not sure
my first race was the zergs, ill hold them back until u gathered enough guardians, and the zergs was easy to understand so they were easy to master.... but then i started playing protoss and started to mass archons......... so i kinda like them both....

    and one more thing......

I NEVER WON ANY BATTLES USING TERRAN!
    NEVER! NEVER! NEVER!

Terrans needs to have the most macro/micro, keeping them defense etc and start turtling around, i like using Terrans however they are not as awesome as Zergs

Im a very bad sc player. last time i playd zerg i sucked. im going to play terran in Sc2, and im pretty sure that im going to play better then in sc. As i have trained with AOE2 and Warcraft 3. My warcraft 3 score only with undead around 60 games is 52%.

Yeah in some ways, but you still train you apm. And you also get more micro skills. And you train you strategy.

I'm working on my skills by playing the first campaigns for sc1. I made the error of trying to just jump into the game and play regular games without playing the starting campaigns to learn basic skills. It's helped with resource management but it is too easy so far. But I haven't played too much into them yet.

Yeah the campaigns are very good for learning the games. But i was 8 when i played the campaign the first time so i just cheated (i know, that wasn't good.....).

Well I suck at Zerg, so I suffered even in the campaign in SC, (not to mention BW...) so I only play terran and toss.. I can't really handle the huge ammount of zerg units you have to produce to complete a rush, or a simple attack

Yes, what is the current selection limit (if there is)? Maybe this will make playing zerg easier. (cause I only used hotkey for buildings..)

    Ok sorry I c now "unlimited" :D
