So i didnt get a blizzcon ticket...

And i dont see how it is possible to get one, me and my friend literally clicked it 2 seconds after 10:00..

and we were 8000 in the queue..

did anyone get in? and does anyone have a ticket theyd like to sell

Just incase you hadn't checked, are you sure you had the time zones matched up? Perhaps you clicked it 2 hours after it started.

More likely, There are alot of Blizzard fans with faster internet connections than you =)

 

I guess you never tried to get popular concert tickets?

But seriously, that sucks. How many were available then? 8000 is not really the amount I expect for such a big event. I just hope Jon has a press card. Website people usually have those at such events. Maybe he can sneak you in? -wink-

Is there a place where they sell tickets physically? As in a piece of paper? If you set up camp in front of such a store right now, you might just make it in time. (seriously, some of those crazy people go and lie in front of ticketstores days before the start...)

 

They should make the whole Blizzcon thing bigger.. like DreamHack.

 

do what desperate people do, tunnel your way in from under ground or just hop the fence, bribe a guard to open the back door, and hope no one sees you.

 

According to the news articles about this, it took fifteen minutes for the tickets to sell-out. So, you must've got your time zone switched or something.

There's always May 30th I, for one, am hoping you get into the beta because I know that'll benefit this community greatly.

Good luck next time! I'd be willing to bet that most of this forum is cheering for you since you seem to be one of the most dedicated of the community that is willing to go to BlizzCon and, thus, get into the beta and help the community with some videos.

haha yeah im trying my best to minimize the ammount of time it takes to refresh, and apperantly jon has multiple tickets that hes going to give out in a contest.

maybe ill win the contest

i am surprised there are few people on this board that are planning to go.. i think most of the people infront of me in the queue were people just buying 5 to sell them on ebay.

kind of lame, blizzard really should have made that impossible.

If you're willing to make videos, I'm willing to torrent them and seed them 24 hours a day most days. I still have the old collection from the other topic ready to torrent as well. I figured since the beta is so soon no one would care for just the old files so I figured we'd combine the torrent and regularly update them as time goes on (Once a week?). That way, they can get the new beta videos and the older somewhat useless videos If they don't want the old videos they can just uncheck the old video folder and they won't download them.

 

oh beta? i dont think they allow video of SC2 at blizzcon. maybe of the other events but not of the games.

im willing to take alot of SC2 footage i was prepared to save each of my replays and then record them at the end of the week in full HD with my full version of fraps and put them up on torrents, sadly i cant torrent them so itll have to be via somebody else like you. if i do get into beta i will deffinently be posting hundreds of videos.

 

I'm talking about beta client videos; not BlizzCon videos. If you go to BlizzCon, you get a key, right?

But, yeah, I've got unlimited 8MB internet so I can seed all day.

 

cool stuff, yeah i get a beta key but i bet its for diablo 3. SC2 beta will be in full swing by then.
