So annoying getting matched v awesome players

So im in silver league and i might win and then my next match is against a platinum..its just stupid like..i cant beat platinum players..why does this keep happening.cant blizzard match you up with equal opponents.

 

People of similar skill are not always online or are already in a game.

Im sure you would much rather not play.

Getting butt raped is the best and quickest way to get better.

Unless of course you don't want to get better. :/

 

When you're doing well in your ladder the system sometimes pops you against a higher ranked opponent to give you a chance to beat him and boost your MMR high for a better boost. Losing as a silver level player to platinum level players shouldn't cost you many points anyway while winning should boost you quite a bit.

Plus the best way to get better is playing against better opponents than you, you should be quite happy about it, imo.

 

I agree with stirlitz.

When I was in silver, I remember butt-raping high diamonds. (well it wasnt really butt-rape, it was somewhat close). SO then the game decided to place me in gold...where is get more mid/high plat and high gold opponents. also the occasional low-bronze.

 

I partly agree with his complaining... It is kind of outrageous to have to jump silver to platinum I know it happened to me. Same with bronze to gold and gold to Diamon. There are other ways of getting better other than beating your face into the neverending onslaught of games your not gonna win BECAUSE.

The more matches he loses the longer hes going to stay in Silver league therefore my logic is more sound because if he was able to get more closely ranked competition he might have a chance of winning more often and progress in actual rank faster and with a better curve. If he ends up 100 wins with 200 loses he will never see the light of gold league

Your guys logic of playing vs better players is sound because thats just how stuff works its a no brainer except when you consider what I stated and we are taking into consideration that every loss plummits him further into the black Abyss of not ranking up... So Im not saying all of you are wrong but you are at the same time if that makes sense,

AND to Alpen I recommend playing custom games for 1v1 or moving over and knocking out some 3v3 or 4v4 to step your skill up before your record gets too crappy to come back Top 200 players have like 200 1v1 league wins cause when they play league they make it count. So bottom line is dont beat your face into the neverending onslaught of 1v1 league till your prepared to take on that platinum player.

 

I don't mind playing against better players then me. I don't mind losing to them either. I just really hate being cheesed (and yes, I know I should learn to counter it...) or having a stroke of bad luck with my net connection dropping (and thus, I lose the game and lose rank). Its quite frustrating!

In taking a break from league games I play custom 1v1's and I look at the persons profile before starting.

If they are diamond 1v1 witth 300+ wins I log out. LOL

How do you know what level the other person is at ? Do you have to check this after the game is over ?

 

In custom games you can view their profile before the game starts.

Not in league games.

 

Well, one great thing vs great players is that you have the replay and you can learn to get better after you lose
Or you can try and ask for help in game when you know you are about to lose and gg
