I am trying to learn terran and was reading up the seige tanks have smart fire, which is the (i think) onlu unit in the game that does. What is smart fire? I'm sure it something that is common sense, but i was still wondering. Thank you!
every unit has it, it is basically a system where the tanks wont waste shots when they "know" something is going to die. Due to the long reload times of certain units, situations could occur where there would be exploitations if there was no system like it. for example, it prevents somebody from sending 1 zerging so that the tanks all waste their shots while the rest of he zerglings overrun the tanks.
