Slow internet connection...

Hey all, I'm a college student at a small school in Ohio and to make it simple: we have awful internet speeds. My lag post 5:00 is unplayable since I get "connecting to server" messages on the reg. Needless to say, it pisses off myself and my opponent.

Is there anything I can do on my end to improve this lag?

 

Convince every other student who's getting out of class and getting off work to not get on.

I'm sorry, but on shared connections like that, there's really not much leeway.

Np. And you're actually fairly lucky, a lot of college networks block gaming connections
