I really like the Singleplayer campaign. I usually play games only because i don't want to read books, so when i play the campaign of a game it's like reading a very interesting book. I even use cheats because i don't really like playing games. I really like all those new things that were added in the singleplayer mode, that history of the planet, the mini wikipedia of starcraft. I made this poll to see if there are anybody that likes singleplayer most, just like me.(I wish i'm not the only one that likes it)
Voted singleplayer, have fun alone. No, often I get fun with other players, just in UMS games. I liked so much to play to "the thing" when I epitomized a marine that had the infested gene, and could morph into a zergling (the thing).
Normally I play multiplayer more than singleplayer, but in SC2, with the new campaign system and all, I think I'll take both.
Both, single player is kool for story ( i read the books) and multiplayer is good for the action -Trooper
I like multiplayer more for the replay value and the competition but I always play the single player first.
I like them both and for different reasons. Single-player is awesome because it is like a really interactive book. Multiplayer is cool because it keeps the game alive after you've played the campaign a thousand times. Although, I like to play at a very relaxed pace, so I only play online with friends. I don't like having to flit around the screen all the time and seriously concentrate on playing haha. A choice you did not include that is probably my favorite element of the game is the campaign editor. I love it because after I have beaten the campaign or played multiplayer all day, I can create my own campaigns and missions to play and they never get boring.
@ ninerman13 : can you create good, amazing, funny maps for the UMS games ? If yes what titles did you create ? And what titles were the best in battle.net according to you ? I loved "the thing" !
@ Samir - I primarily make UMS single-player missions, and a few melee multiplayer maps, so I am actually not familiar with those funny UMS maps you are talking about. And while I have not made any such maps, I am sure that I would be quite capable of doing so.
