Signatures

In the old forum i could easily show the my cool sig (text based), but know I dont have the space, will this be changed or will it stay on that way?
Perhaps this should have been posted in the question thread, but perhaps we could get a general discussen about sigs going

 

Just don't break the lines and it should fit. If more characters is what you need then be patient. I'm sure sc2 will set it near the old limit, which was 900 I think.

 

To get my sig working properly we need the resizing atributes for the img tag

 

He has a text sig.

And I also think that you broke the text maybe?.. I think it should fit in as it did in the old forum. I don't know why is it so left aligned.

 

Why not just resize or crop it manually and reupload and link to it?

WTF?! Now the signatures are less than 100px in height!

Make the height 100px
Thats pretty much forum standard so would be the best so as not to interfere with people whoi want to use their sig in other places

 

Like I said in the other thread, crop it yourself and create a separate one for this site.

Its not intrusive. Besides why should I have to crop my sig for one forum? I already have 6 different versions of this avatar in different sizes I don't want to use more space just because of one forum having a small sig size

I had previously set the signatures to 100px, but the admin clearly felt it was necessary for now to have it at its original setting.

Please be patient with the new layout. When all is said and done everything will be to your guys' liking, I promise.

gifs aren't inherently distracting. Its the ones that FLASH or contain lots (emphasis on the lots part) of movement that are distracting.

Jons sig isnt distracting



What may I ask is the original setting?
Also what is the width limit gonna be?

 

My post was directed at ursa, whose gifs were distracting. I know it jolly well that gifs aren't distracting in general.

 

Yes I hate his sigs. I am glad they're gone.
