Okay guys, on many forums there are some kind of monopoly about the signature making industry (industry because the makes often ask for a reward.. and here, it's going to be mineral) so.. like everyone guessed, I forsaw the situation and I'm making this system to fix it before there's even a problem with it.

This thread is for you, to request signatures to anyone who feels like doing it for you.. there are no specific rules however I'll give you some hints of how it should work:

How to request a signature:

• What size do you want your signature?
• What mood, ambience, atmosphere, feel, look, style, genre ... do you want your signature to be like?
• Do you have any source images that you want the signature maker to use?
• Do you want personalized text on it? If so, what is it and what kind of font would you like?
• Animations?
• It could be a good idea to tell us how much you are willing to pay for the service.
• ...

How to offer a signature:

• Tell how much mineral you want for it.
• Remember that the user don't have to pay if he doesn't use the signature
• Don't complain if more than 1 member are doing a sig for someone... it's how it works.. just make sure your is better.
• ...

As you might have noticed, this thread will mostly serve to the member who request signatures.. since maybe more than 1 member will try out, depending on the mineral offer, so the higher the mineral, the more submittions and the faster you'll get a cool signature, also.. the more details you give about what you want, the easier it will be for the signature makers to do exactly what you had in mind.

One more point: all these words also applies to avatars.

If someone wants to steal my little image guy here and make me a moving one....... that'd be quite awesome.

I would do it but ATM I suck with Maya, etc. ArchLimit stopped my training. :-\

I'll pay 1,000 for it.

It's gotta fit the color scheme, and I want my rotating Gator symbol in it as well. Make the X in Project X bend all around and then come back to an X.

Then insert the Gator logo (with black background) in there and have it rotating. Light it up so its more visible.

I offer 1k for this for now. May raise that.

 

That is above my photoshop/imageready knowledge.

 

Well of course, that's why I'm asking someone to do it....

I can use photoshop quite well and Maya some. But I'm not as good as ArchLimit is, etc... it's gonna require someone with a lot of knowledge in Maya.

Where you want the spinning gator? Not much room.

Also, I don't see why maya is necessary, seems simple enough for image ready alone.

Yeah, that's true.. I can clearly see how it would be done with imageready.

 

Here's the problem, I was going to make the looping animations and just saved the gator .gif and there is absolutely no room, so my question is, seriously consider it, where should I put it?

You can make it with photoshop and imageready or you could ask someone to make it for you.

 

Er... me? I don't want to do a tut yet so, erm... I use Photoshop CS3 and well brushing, smudging, if you don't know photoshop I suggest you google some tutorials. Or post here, I do requests for free so don
t worry about minerals or stuff.

Yes. But I'm very busy during the school year so I may not get to some for a long time, and then there are times when I just don't feel like doing it. If you want me especially to do it, every other rule applies and there is a risk I don't do it. If you just want a sig made and a.s.a.p, then if I were you I'd put a price on it.

 

ummm, i was wondering what is the best FREE program similar to photoshop-

and i am requesting a signature... i want it to say EatMeR3turns somewhere, i want it animated, and i want the color scheme to be dark red/black/neon green. i want it starcraft-related, but only using one race or image... like dont use kerrigan's eyes and a command center, unless it is an image of kerrigan entering a command center. i will pay if absolutely necessary a max of 500, but i am hoping it will be free... thanks!

Here's one of my signatures. It's 500 minerals.
That white around the edges won't be there. And you can change fonts and options for
your name.

 

@ SD-Count , whoa, sorry I haven't been around this weekend much.

Go ahead and slow down the blur entrance animation and then just have the Gator logo rise into place on top of the Project X after it is already in place. So the entire animation would last around 6-7 seconds.

i like it, except i saw no neon green/dark red... and there are a few key things i would like changed. otherwise, it's very good... PM me if you are willing to personalize me a copy of it, ill be willing to pay 500 minerals.
