I don't think so. Just pictures of the cars from real life.

 

Hmmm, if its like Grand Turismo or Need for Speed, yes

But no actual cartoon ones, like from movies.

You can do the ones that look like real cars, like on really detailed games and Renders.

question: can i have a NFS (U2 ;D) backround but edited using other tools, i dont have PS
in short, draw something over the car..... i only have a flash cs3

 

So we're not having an anonymous round this time? It would be nice... you could drop the rule of putting the author's name on it and enforce a picture of the image editor in desktop resolution, so everything can be read and checked. Just a thought.

 

You'll have to show the stock and show us what difference there is.

btw if you didn't understand.. I was just emphasing on how your restrictive rules reduce the creation possibilities.. not everyone are only attracted by the usual and repetitive stuff we see everyday... there are at least 10 000 members on every big forums who use a sig similar to your entry, lil rendered sport car that you dream of but won't ever drive that fits with the abstract background in a 350px by 100px frame.. how creative is that?

what is your motive for not allowing animations? can't make ones?

the previous contest showed that people likes them when they are used in a "signature" way more than simply an eye candy animation (like my stuff, indeed) so why not allowing it.. I'm sure zeratul11 would have made something amazing that even your mind would have appreciated.

I know my entry is against the rules (dude, that's what the point) but why did you delete half the posts in your thread? These posts were making it alive.. which can't be bad for your competition you know..

anyway... it's not your fault.. I'm sure you can blame someone.

Of course I understand that and I support diversity... however.. animation is not a genre..

Besides (does "besides" need a s?) it wasn't about a war.. I saw your competition and I didn't want to participate to it.. however it gave me the idea for a funny sig.. basicly your competition made me do it. It's supposed to be a joke and based on the posts that some mod deleted, everyone beside you understood the joke.

anyway.. it's cool.. the replies were getting spammy anyway.

I support a theme based contest, but a restricting one when there are no needs to restrict is a bad idea. Anyway.. you do what you want.

 

so can anyone start a new sc2 artwork contest? only drawings are allowed. ^^
