Hey guys, I was just wondering if you guys think I should preorder StarCraft II. I can't see the game actually selling out. I already have a Beta key, so I don't have that incentive. Also, how late can you preorder the game before the release date?
...you can always buy it straight from blizzard and just download it. unless their server crashes from the number of people purchasing it, there is literally NO way they can "run out".
Blizzard won't have it up for digital download until a week after release I think. That being said I highly doubt you will have a hard time getting a copy. Despite popular belief SC2 isn't that popular.
dont you guys know? The apocalypse is the same week as SC2's release, so with the end of world and every one going crazy might be kinda hard to get with looting and all. But, yeah im going to pre-order so i can get first day.
Yeah haha I dunno why everyone is pre-ordering when I can just go to my best buy the day its out and get it easily.
I pre-ordered so I can get a beta key. But since that event is over, don't bother pre-ordering. Stores won't run out most likely, unless you live like SC2 community or something.
How many copies does a shop get? I mean I see no reason to dissuade anyone from preordering if there's no additional cost. It's nice to be on the safe side (or get a free issue of a gaming magazine like me ).
because theres no need to... SC2 wont be that big a deal.. I mean its going to sell a million copies maybe.. People said Halo 3 would sell out on the first day and it didnt. They said CoD: MW2 would sell out on the first day.. It didn't.. They said WoTLK would sell out the first day, and guess what? It didn't.
They use torrents. It's not going to crash. As for the question, you don't pay until you it ships or you go into the store. So, why not? Seems like a no brainer. It just makes sure you don't have to go to a store or two since you already know the store you pre-ordered from will have it/
