I stopped playing games for a while cuz of work, now the game came out and I wanna try it out but I really am worried my work laptop will not be able to handle it.

If I turn all the settings to low would it still be a waste of time (framerate craps out to unplayable) on this machine? Anyone try or have any experience with this? Would it be a waste of money/time etc? All help greatly appreciated, thanks.

You would be better off getting a new computer.

I agree with theory, but you SHOULD be able to run it. Your work computer and mine have pretty much the same specs i believe, and i run it on Low :D

hoping to get a new laptop soon tho

Forgot it. The onboard video isn't enough to push the game because Intel GFX = teh fail.

Your only option would be trying some complicated system hacking to add a PCIe 1-4x slot and using an external graphics card... and unless your an extremely advanced system user, its not something you'll want to undertake.
