Uhhh.. Obligatory wat. Do you have any information on the game? The genre? Style? Is it a new release? A classic? Come on, man, give me something to work with!
Well, uhm.. If -you- are the one asking us for our input, why not provide a link to the game's website? Or a site providing information on the game. You can't assume we all know what you're talking about, and why should we go prowling around The Googles for something we have little interest in?
Banned i think you miss the point of the thread. Hes asking the opinions of people who have played the game but if you really want to know. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sins_of_a_solar_empire Sins of a Solar Empire is alright i don't think it lives up to the hype personally but its an ok strategy game. If you like RTS's where you have to spend hours on every single map you play you will like it. The graphics are a little tacky but thats understandable since it was made on the cheap (only 1 million $). If you've played homeworld the graphics are basically on that level but the ship combat isn't quite as cool. Its more of a strategic space simulator than your average rock paper scissors RTS. So if you want self indulgent explosions go buy Red Alert 3. But if your brain wants to work while you have fun buy Sins...i personally prefer the explosions xD But theres so many great games coming out i wouldn't bother with Sins unless your a die hard fan of the genre. Plus it doesn't have any copy protection
im not a diehard rts fan but i do like the concepts in sins for instance: i want to win because i thought of the best strategy not because i can tell my units to use their abilities faster, i mean, im not a micro-manager, i would rather tell my units to do something and no thave to babysit them while they fight also i like the sheer scale of it... i mean, i think its sweet that i can have massive capital ships slugging it out and still be able to have massive supporting fleets without instantly hitting my supply limit btw i can get this for $20
If you think it is good, and it is as cheap as 20 dollars, then why are you still posting about it and not playing it? It's not very expensive, and you've already thought about playing it enough to post about it. Thats reason enough to buy it. Go have fun longlive.
